ABOUT AN’s 2022
BEST OF PRACTICE AWARDS
Reaching over a million readers, The Architect’s Newspaper is the go-to news source for the architecture and design industry. For years, AN has acknowledged the work of industry leaders through its annual Best of Design and Best of Products Awards, but the firms themselves never got the star treatment…until now.
With the second annual Best of Practice Awards, AN recognizes North American firms excelling at multiple levels of the AEC industry, from architecture and engineering to landscape and lighting. Honoring firms of all sizes and regions, the awards will offer a snapshot of what practice looks like today.
The 2022 awards program kicks off February 1st, with early bird entries due by February 25th and the submission period running through April 1. Entrants can enter their firm’s projects and work across eight categories and five regions. A jury of industry experts as well as AN editors will evaluate the firms according to relevant criteria. The aim will be to stake out an expansive meaning of excellence, one which takes into account inclusivity, social impact, sustainability, regionality, and technological innovation, in addition to formal and structural considerations.
The top prizes will be announced on ArchPaper.com in June, and winners will receive a specially designed award. They will also be featured in AN’s end-of-the-year Best of award magazine and promoted across our social media channels. More details to be announced soon.
